External partnerships
The Management subject area has a number of external links. These include links with other academic institutions as well as with the business community.
Academic links range from those with London’s Blake Hall College, London School of Management and Science, Coleg Powys, Georgetown University, Washington DC and institutions in Austria, Germany, Finland, China and many other countries including TEG International College, Singapore.
A BA in Business Management and IT is available through a brand new franchise with Coleg Powys in Brecon and Glyndŵr University’s BA in Business Management and MBA can be studied at Blake Hall College and the Glyndwr University London.
The nature of these links varies. In some cases there is an exchange of academics, in others students from institutions arrive to be taught at Glyndŵr University.
This helps to provide a stimulating and varied environment in which to study as well as enhancing cultural diversity. Glyndŵr University's Management subject area makes links with the business community through several of its staff being members of various professional bodies.
Eminent speakers are invited to give business talks to an audience on a variety of topics, and contributors from the public, private and voluntary sectors advise us on our portfolio of programmes. This, along with the provision of consultancy activities, applied research, short programmes and Knowledge Transfer Partnerships, all help us to remain close to the world of work.
