Employability
Students graduating from full- or part-time programmes in Business and Management at the School of Business develop a range of business related competencies which prepare them for roles in their chosen careers.
These skills help students:
- in their personal development planning
- when job searching
- at interviews
They also make them valuable employees.
All our undergraduate and HNC students take career development modules to support them in planning their careers, and project work gives full-time students the opportunity to practise their learning in the real world and make useful contacts with employers.
The Graduate Young Enterprise Scheme provides students on the full-time programme with the opportunity of organising their own business company. The students learn from first-hand experience how to balance all the factors required for a successful business venture.
