Sally Harrison

Senior Lecturer in Journalism, Broadcasting and Media Communications Sally Harrison

Sally took her first degree in Art History, Classics and Sociology at the University of Manchester and has worked in BBC radio for fourteen years, for the last seven of those at Radio 4.

A practising radio researcher and producer, Sally specialises in the genres of comedy and popular arts.

Radio projects include ‘What Texting Owes to the Literary Enlightenment’ and ‘On Northern Men – An examination of the diversification of screen portrayals of the "Northern Man" over the past forty years’.

Sally also specialises in creative copywriting and writing for the web, and works in regular consultation with tourism agencies and festivals to provide research and copy for production and publicity.
