BA (Hons) Television Production and Technology
Learn and work in a real production environment. This degree is developed in close collaboration with the BBC, Skillset and leading industry experts.
The UK is commonly known as the third largest film entertainment market in the world; the largest generator of creative industries in Europe and the largest producer for TV and radio content.
This course will equip you with the key technical skills, design and artistic concepts required for success in the creative industries.
This course is different to many - students can engage in the day-to-day operation of the television channels and production facility, extending student participation beyond the lecture theatre.

The course modules of study are designed to provide a broad base of knowledge that bridge the artistic and design considerations of production. You will learn the technical expertise and ability to deliver media across multiple platforms. This is essential in the production environment as roles and responsibilities are blurred through the ongoing development of technology.

Assessment
There is a range of assessment methods used for this course including creating TV productions, essays, work based learning, portfolios, reports, and presentations. All assessments will be course based, and therefore there are no exams on the course.
