The Professional Certificate in Residential Surveying covers professional practice, professional development, applied health and safety, measurement of buildings and research tools for surveying. It also covers identification of construction forms, defects, collating information for home condition reporting and assessment of domestic energy performance. The programme will prepare you to undertake the Home Inspector Diploma or the Domestic Energy Assessor qualification through covering VRQ4 knowledge and understanding.

Assessment
All assessments for the Certificate are practical. The Home Inspector/Energy Assessor Diploma is an external assessment based on evidence of practical work followed by an exam.
