Centre for Pedagogical Research and Scholarship

The Centre has a University-wide remit to support pedagogical research and scholarship, with a view to promoting excellence in teaching. Members of the Centre undertake applied research in the field of education and professional development. This work embraces compulsory and post-compulsory education, as well as higher education, and is informed by different subject-specific cultures and contexts. The Centre publishes its own journal, The Journal of Pedagogical Research and Scholarship, and members undertake collaborative research projects with other education providers.
