Centre for Applied Internet Research

CAIR currently has 23 active researchers in various roles: academic staff registered for research degrees, other academic research active staff, Knowledge Transfer Partnership associates and research students. Within CAIR there are four research teams: Network Algorithms Group; Human-Computer Interaction Group; Music Technologies Group and the Games Research Development Team.

The team have research collaborations throughout Europe and members serve on various national and international editorial/advisory boards. They have won several awards including those for published work and UK and European funding. CAIR organises an International Conference on Internet Technologies and Applications every two years.
