Studying for a University of Wales qualificationGlyndŵr University welcomes applications from non-UK European students to study towards a University of Wales qualification. With an appropriate entry qualification students may apply for an undergraduate or a postgraduate degree. At undergraduate level in the academic areas of Engineering or Computing, this means studying for a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) or Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree at either ordinary or honours level. All undergraduate degree programmes in Engineering are now fully accredited with the appropriate Engineering Institute in the UK - the IET, IMechE or The Royal Society of Aeronautical Engineers. Master of Science (MSc) taught postgraduate qualifications, Master of Philosophy (MPhil) research study courses and Doctorate (PhD) research courses are also available. All courses include free English language tuition. Please see our full list of taught undergraduate courses in Engineering and Computing. The normal full time study duration for an undergraduate degree is three years. However, this can be shortened as we will take into account your previous study and qualifications to give you exemption from the first year and possibly second year of study. It is not uncommon for European students who have achieved sufficient ECTS credits in their home degrees to complete an ordinary or honours degree here in one academic year. As examples: French/Spanish students with relevant qualifications. BEng (Hons)
