Glyndŵr University postgraduate scholarship 2009/10

Glyndŵr University is offering a special, one-off postgraduate scholarship for the 2009/10 academic year to help you continue your studies.

We will pay for 50% of your course fees for all taught postgraduate courses.

This includes full-time and part-time courses (MA, MSc, MBA, MRes, PGCert, PGDip, etc) offered here at Glyndŵr University and starting in the 2009-10 academic year.

This offer is open to Glyndŵr University and other Welsh university students who have graduated from an honours degree this summer.

Eligibility for our 2009 scholarship

Students should apply for and be accepted on to a Glyndŵr University postgraduate course for the academic year 2009-10 and also:

  • either be a graduate of Glyndŵr University or any other Welsh university who has obtained an award at honours degree level;
  • or be a graduate of any university who has obtained an award at honours degree level and who has been domiciled in Wales for three years prior to the commencement of the course.

We also welcome interest and enquiries from graduates who fall outside the above criteria and wish to apply for our postgraduate scholarship – each of these applicants will be considered on merit, and on a first-come first-served basis.

Terms and conditions

The scholarship is payable on successful completion of the course and is worth 50% of the Home/EU fee rate.

The offer is valid for courses commencing in the academic year 2009-10 only and is for the full normal duration of the course. Students who have to repeat the year will not receive the scholarship for the extra year.

International students may receive the scholarship but only at 50% of Home/EU fees rate.

The postgraduate scholarship cannot be held in addition to another Glyndŵr University scholarship.

1. Please note that this fee is not payable to Glyndŵr University. 2. Students on the PGCE course may either be eligible for a fee grant or a scholarship. 3. Welsh courses may attract a 50% concession subject to satisfying Glyndŵr University's eligibility criteria.
