Make this weekend one for all the family

This weekend will be more than just Mother’s Day for families in Wrexham. NEWI is offering the perfect solution for dads and sons feeling guilty about going to the Wrexham/Chester game this Sunday – why not bring the whole family to Scientriffic on Saturday and make a weekend of it.

When you pop down to the racecourse to buy your ticket for the game this Saturday you can surprise the family by nipping next door to visit the exciting family science day that will be Scientriffic.

The event will feature something for everyone – from the young to the young at heart. Exciting exhibits range from exploring energy uses and marine animals to science shows and making computer games.
 
But before Mums and kids think you’ve gone too soft there is an additional incentive. A prize draw will be running on the day enabling visitors to be entered to win an £150 track sport voucher for a track or drifting day at a real race circuit.

Scientriffic is on Saturday 25th March from 10am until 4pm. Tickets for Scientriffic are available in advance from Wrexham Tourist Information Office, Techniquest@NEWI or by calling 01978 293439. Prices in advance are Children £2, Adults £4 and Family Tickets £10, or prices on the day are Children £3, Adults £5 and Family ticket £12.
