Full Wrexham Science Festival for 2007 announced

NEWI and Wrexham Council are delighted to announce the dates for the 2007 Wrexham Science Festival.

The festival will run from Tuesday 27th March 2007 through to Tuesday 3rd April 2007 with Scientriffic being on Saturday 31st March 2007. The programme will feature something for everyone covering a vast range of science concepts and ideas through talks, films, demonstrations and exhibitions.

Eur Ing Helen James, a Director at NEWI is the Chairperson of the Wrexham Science Festival Committee “I’m delighted to announce that there will be a Wrexham Science Festival in 2007. The events are still very much at the planning stages at the moment but we would welcome any ideas from the Wrexham community over what events they would like to see”.

Deputy Leader of Wrexham Council, Cllr Bob Dutton said: "Wrexham County Borough Council looks forward to working again with our partners to stage a successful Wrexham Science Festival in 2007. In common with all our partners we are keen to see the Science Festival develop as a sustainable event and are glad to be involved as the organisation of the Festival now gets into full swing."
