The show is always a highlight in the NEWI calendar and this year promises to be no exception with examples of outstanding work being shown.  Alec Shepley, Principal Lecturer at the North Wales School of Art and Design, is really looking forward to the opening; he said, “Amongst those exhibiting are a number of  students who have won very prestigious awards, the standard of the work is exceptional and it will be fantastic to see so much of it on display.  We are also very proud that the private viewing on Friday 2nd June will be opened by Estelle Thompson, an internationally renowned British abstract painter who is currently a visiting Professor at NEWI.”

The exhibition is based at the North Wales School of Art and Design, Regent Street, Wrexham and is open to the public daily between Saturday 3rd June and Thursday 15th June, everyone is welcome.  Art lovers and anyone with an interest in studying any art and design discipline are certain to find examples of work which will fascinate and inspire.  With the work on show ranging from displays of fine art, graphic design work, ceramics, sculpture, glass work, jewellery, illustration and animation there will be something to interest everyone.   For opening times and further details please visit www.newi.ac.uk/nwsad or call Alyn on 01978 293518.
