Partners in industry

Partnerships 1 with pic

Partnership working is at the heart of our vision for creating a market-led university at the heart of a major industrial growth area.

Glyndŵr University is committed to the social and economic development of North Wales and the region and, as such, engages with various local, regional and international organisations to help maximise its reach and impact at home and abroad.

From the Advanced Composite Training and Development Centre developed with Airbus, Deeside College and the Welsh Government to our work with NWN Media to produce journalists equipped for the digital age, we believe partnership working is vital to the economic and social fabric of our region and Wales as a whole.

As well as leading the way in high-tech industries at the creative cutting edge, we're also working to ensure the mainstays of the Welsh economy thrive for generations to come. Our work as lead partner in the Horticulture Wales project is an example of our commitment to a sustainable future for this key industry sector.

Racecourse

At the Glyndŵr University Racecourse Stadium we work with Wrexham FC, the Crusaders rugby league team, the FAW and the RFL to secure the future of international sport in the region.

Our Centre for the Creative Industries is home to the BBC's Wrexham studio, a stamp of approval which reflects the quality of the facilities and expertise the centre contains.
