Language classes and support

Glyndŵr University provides a range of language classes and personal support for students and other users who wish to develop their language skills.

The following language facilities are available:

• Welsh language courses - It is possible to learn Welsh while studying at Glyndwr University . Our courses range from complete beginners to Upper Intermediate. By completing one of these courses, you could gain 20 HE credits and a HE certificate. We currently offer four levels of study which provide the learner with a clear progression route.
  
  
• English language support - The Second Language Learning Centre provides in-sessional English language support throughout the Academic Year to all international and European students.
  
  
• Learn a foreign langauge -  The Centre offers an exciting variety of foreign language learning opportunities at levels  from beginners to advanced  and in a growing range of languages such as  ESOL/EFL (English for Professional Purposes),  Chinese (Mandarin), Finnish, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Russian, Spanish and Swedish.
